How to add a date stamp to photos you already took
Short answer
Open Kins Camera, tap Library, pick a photo and turn on DATE. Kins puts the date the photo was taken in the bottom right corner, in orange, like a film camera.
Steps
- Swipe right from Kins Home to open the camera.
- Tap Library and pick a photo from your phone.
- Turn on DATE at the top. The date goes in the bottom right, written like '26 10 11.
- Swipe across the photo to try the 24 film-style looks. The date works on all of them.
- Tap Save, Share or Post to album.

Which date goes on the photo?
| Photo | Date on the stamp |
|---|---|
| Picked from your library | The date saved with the photo, usually the day it was taken |
| Just shot in Kins Camera | Today |
| A photo with no date saved | Today |
- Photos you saved from a chat may carry the day you saved them, not the day they were taken.
Videos too
- Pick a video of up to 3 minutes from your library and the camera switches to Camcorder. A few camcorder looks put the date in a pixel font, like an old camcorder screen.
