How to film videos with an old camcorder look
Short answer
Open Kins Camera, switch from Photo to Camcorder under the shutter, and record up to 3 minutes. Then pick one of the looks made for video, like fisheye, a peephole view or ’90s camcorder tape.
Steps
- Open the camera in Kins by swiping right from Home.
- Under the shutter, switch from Photo to Camcorder. The row of looks changes to ones made for video.
- Record. A clip can run up to 3 minutes.
- Pick a look, then tap Save, Post to album or Share.
The video looks
- Fisheye: a round lens that bulges in the middle.
- Peephole: like looking out through a door viewer.
- Tape: scan lines, color bleed and grain from an old camcorder. A few of them put the date in the corner.
