Kins

Terms of Service

Effective August 18, 2026

Thank you for using Kins ("the Service"). These terms are the agreement between the Service and you. We have kept the language plain and written down only what we will actually do.

1. What the Service does

Kins is an app where several people collect the photos they each took into one album. You create an album and invite people with a link; everyone invited adds their own photos and fills the album together.

2. Your account

3. Everyone in an album has the same rights

An album has no owner. Any member can add photos, change the album name and cover, and invite other people.

4. What you upload is yours, and your responsibility

You keep the copyright in the photos and videos you upload. The Service uses them only as far as it must to show them to that album's members and to store them. We do not use them for promotion and do not give them to anyone else.

Before uploading, please make sure that:

If your rights have been infringed (takedown request)

Kins does not review or screen what goes into albums in advance. What gets uploaded is the user's choice and responsibility. But we act as soon as a rights holder tells us.

Email kinsphotoshare@gmail.com with:

  1. What work has been infringed
  2. Where it appears (album invite link or a screenshot)
  3. Something showing you are the rights holder or their agent
  4. How to reach you

Once we receive it, we make the post invisible within 24 hours and notify the person who uploaded it. They may object, and if they do we look at both sides and decide again. If the same person infringes repeatedly, we suspend their account.

This procedure follows the safe-harbour requirements for online service providers under Articles 102 and 103 of the Korean Copyright Act.

5. What you must not do

Please report anything like this — with the report button in the app, or at the address below. We look at every report within 24 hours and, where needed, remove the post or suspend the account. Child sexual abuse material is blocked immediately and reported to the authorities.

6. Kins+

7. Changes and discontinuation

We may change or remove features. We give notice in advance of any change that disadvantages you. If we ever shut the Service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice and let you download your photos during that time.

8. Limits of liability

We do our best to keep your photos safe, but we recommend you do not treat the Service as your only copy. We are not liable for loss caused by natural disaster, network failure, or your own mistake.
