How to share photo walk shots with your photo club

Updated 2026-10-09

Short answer

Make one Kins album for the walk and drop the invite link in the club chat. Each member posts their picks from their own phone, and every photo shows who took it.

Before the walk

  1. Create an album named after the walk and the date, for example "Riverside walk, Oct 12".
  2. Keep it "Invited only" for members, or choose "View by link" to show the results to people outside the club. Anyone with the link can look; only invited members post.
  3. Post the "Invite with a link" link in the club chat. It doesn’t change, so you can pin it.

After the walk

  1. If you shot on a dedicated camera, move your picks to your phone first, then post them.
  2. A post holds up to 20 photos, and each photo can have its own caption, handy for the spot or your settings.
  3. Members can comment on each other’s shots, so the review happens in the album instead of the chat.

FAQ

Can people outside the club see the album?

"Invited only" albums are visible only to members. Switch to "View by link" and anyone with the link can look, while only invited members post.

Does Kins keep the original file?

No. Photos are resized to 1440 pixels on the long side when you post. That looks sharp on a phone, but keep your originals for prints and editing.

Can members save everyone’s photos?

Yes. In Album settings, tap "Save all" to save the album’s photos to your phone.

Start with one link today. It’s free.
